We placed a big order for late night sliders to be served at our wedding. Donna was great, helped us maximize the coupons and saved us money. The sliders were a huge hit!

Ok I know I can't be too picky.. But the place was a bit small.. And the layout I didn't like.. But hey the food.. Sometimes you're just in the mood for White Castle sliders, and they deliver in this regard..

Waited in line for 15 minutes... we were the only customers there. Food was cold and STALE. Employees were slow and loud, and when they messed up our order they were RUDE about fixing it. Hard to understand. Wouldn't recommend this location.

I normally do not like White Castle, but my boss really wanted it on Friday night. So I drove to get it and just got half of what he initially ordered. Jalapeno Cheeseburgers, Chicken and Cheese and sack of fries. I will admit that I was surprised in the taste of everything. It was all made perfectly and not as greasy as I am used to it. But the reason I am still rating this White Castle at a 3 is because of the service. They are not friendly, extremely slow and just don't care about their job. I understand that it is just a White Castle job and it's a Friday night so you probably want to go out and do something. But you wouldn't be able to do anything if it wasn't for that job paying your bills. Just a smile changes everything. They need to improve on their customer service skills and quickly!!!

When I was a child growing up in Kentucky, upon occasion (aka my dad got a craving) we would drive to the next county over to pick up some sliders from "Grease Spots." It wasn't until I grew up that I made the connection that the fondly-remembered fast-food "Grease Spots" from my youth was, in fact, a White Castle. As an adult, I've learned to temper my desire for greasy slider goodness...White Castle is only allowed when one is #1 Hungover and/or #2 Still drunk and within walking distance/have a sober friend to drive. Too often, eating White Castle burgers when stone-cold sober, despite the yummy-smelling siren call wafting through the air, leads to disaster. This location is extraordinarily convenient, essentially on the corner of 13 Mile/Woodward. What knocked off all the stars, though, is the speed (or lack thereof). This White Castle is the Sleeping Beauty Castle of Metro Detroit restaurants. You can wait in the drive-through for twenty minutes (not kidding). You can wait inside at the counter for another twenty while the employee behind the counter tries to figure out this whole four-for-free coupon dealio. If you come in looking for grease to ward off the beforementioned hangover, you may well be sober by the time you finally get your Crave Case. Clear some time on your schedule to hit this one up, there's no such thing as instant gratification here.

It was late night and I caved in and went to White Castle. Awesome for being open 24/7. Burgers ok, fries ok, guy standing around shouting weird stuff - not ok.

I love me some White Castle, and I can happily say I've been doing sliders well before Harold and Kumar made a joke of it. White Castles these days are generally pretty sketchy, even in the nice parts of town. I don't know how they manage this feat, but they pull it off. Anyway, this location is generally pretty good and surprisingly clean on a regular basis, which is refreshing. My only real problem with them is that they're slow, way slower than it takes to even get a burger from McDonald's, and it's not like we're talking equal volume here. There's no reason a White Castle should be as slow as this place. Otherwise? It's both the bee's knees and the cat's pajamas. Good times and good sliders.

They sell a briefcase full of hamburgers. That way you can act all smooth and pretend you're going to work at some big fancy office or a spy carrying secret documents but let's be real here for a minute. If you're buying a pretend briefcase full of White Castle hamburgers, you don't have a job where you get a briefcase. Odds are you don't even have a job. You're going home to get high and watch old episodes of the New Dance Show.

Okay let's be honest. White Castle is White Castle. You know exactly what to expect when you go there. No one goes to White Castle expecting gourmet cuisine or exquisite delicacies. It's cheap, fast (hopefully) and decent (also hopefully). This was actually my first time eating inside a White Castle. I came here with my boyfriend who had challenged me saying I couldn't eat ten sliders. We ordered 20 total. Ten jalapeno and ten cheeseburgers. It sort of took a while but 20 is probably not the standard order. The girl who took our order was really nice. When we were getting ready to leave and she noticed we had eaten all 20 she and commented saying how she thought we were going to need the to go bag for sure and when my boyfriend told her how he had bet me that I couldn't eat 10 and that I had she said "Good for you!" Haha. I wasn't exactly feeling super great about myself but it was still nice of her. She even asked us how everything was and wanted to make sure everything was okay. So overall probably the best White Castle experience anyone could expect to ask for. Especially while sober. haha

I don't care what anyone says, I love White Castle, and I really don't care much for fast food. Perhaps it's because I don't live in the midwest anymore and have no access to White Castle where I am. However, when I come back in town I always like to drop by here and get some of the burgers. I just wish they had more locations country-wide.

You know how trips always make you crave crappy, greasy, cheap fast food? Yeah, me too. Like a 5am sausage, egg, and cheese McMuffin on the way to snowboard, this White Castle is always my first stop for food upon landing in MI. Open on Thanksgiving, open late night, always with some sketch thrown in for good measure. It's cheaper than food.. it's White Castle.

since watching that freakin movie, i always wanted to try those little burgers. i got a sample of one back home, but it came in the form of frozen turned soggy burger through the powers of the microwave. so when i ended up in detroit for a convention, i HAD to taste this infamous burger. Oh Em Effin Gee..it was GREAT. period. i probably had about 6 of those babies. if i had smoked earlier, i probably could have had 10. i'm in love with the jalapeno burger. their fries are so-so, but it's all about the burger. it's so delicious that you know you're gaining weight by the second. but who cares??? it's worth it. okay, maybe just for me because i don't have the luxury of going to white castle in hawaii.
